Buyers

Buyers should give a thorough inspection of any vehicle before bidding on it.

Each vehicle is sold “AS-IS - Where Is”. This means the vehicle is sold “AS-IS” without any warranty, whether expressed or implied. The buyer will bear the entire expense of repairing or correcting any defects that presently exist or that may occur in the vehicle. No seller or representative of Summit Auto Auction shall promise in writing or otherwise that a particular defect(s) does not exist. NO vehicle on the premises is represented to be road worthy or to pass any state safety check.

Buyer fee is $100.00 (Above the final bid)

Nothing will be removed from premises until it is paid for.

You may elect to make a cash deposit (U.S. Currency Only) of $200 at the time of the sale to hold a deal until the following Monday. The balance must be paid by 5:00 pm Monday or you will forfeit your deposit. There are absolutely no refunds.

There is a $20.00 storage fee for anything left for the week. After 30 days the storage fee is $10.00 per day. After 60 days the vehicle will be sold for liquidation damages.

We recommend that you arrange to have your vehicle towed to your home, to insure delivery and allow you time to make any repairs you desire before you attempt to drive the vehicle, or use it for parts.

Identification is required - NO EXCEPTIONS

Proof of current insurance or a new insurance binder (not paid receipt) with both effective and expiration dates are mandatory to receive or transfer a plate. Also, a current driver’s license from Pennsylvania or any foreign state, if your vehicle is to be transferred to another state, is mandatory. There will be NO exceptions.

The vehicle you choose to buy will be transferred directly to you by the seller, the auction is acting solely as the agent.

Sellers

Identification is Required - NO EXCEPTION
 
ENTRY FEES: $50.00 PER VEHICLE (If sold or not)
 
No spots will be reserved. All vehicles are on a first come, first serve basis.
 
No check-ins after 5:00 pm on Friday previous to Auction.
 
The title must be in the seller’s name in order to sell the vehicle.
 
Identification is Required - NO EXCEPTIONS
 
All sellers listed on title must be present.
 
Seller must announce R-Titles, TMU, or over 100,000 miles.
 
Money is held until all titles are cleared.
 
Sellers pay a fee to enter, while buyers pay a fee to buy.
 
Summit Auto Auction will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your vehicle while you are offering it for sale at our auction. Remove all personal items from your vehicle before entering our lot. Stay with your vehicle to show it and answer any questions buyers might have. “It is your responsibility” to protect your own vehicle from any damage that might occur while it is being offered to buyers, parked, stored, held for auction or for any other reason it is on the Summit Auto Auction property.
 
There will be no auction in December or January.
